Restoring an icon.
Located in Northam Western Australia, Eclipse was once an iconic brewery through the 1890s gold rush era. Inspired by this a bunch of local mates set out to build a craft brewery and pay homage to the original Eclipse story.
The approach.
With a rich story behind the brand and a target market of traditional beer drinkers, the approach was taken to lean into the brewery’s history.
A brandmark and custom typeface were created, inspired by the original brewery’s distinctive gravity-fed brewing tower. The result is a visual identity uniquely theirs, while connecting to the past and giving an established presence.
